1. Overview
These terms govern your use of mahogana.com and any purchases made through it. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to these terms. Mahogana is operated from Accra, Ghana.
2. Products & Pricing
- All prices are listed in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- Product images are representative. As our products are handcrafted from natural wood, slight variations in colour, grain, and texture are normal and expected.
- We reserve the right to update prices at any time. The price at the time of your order confirmation is the price you pay.
- Products marked "Request Quote" require a consultation before pricing is confirmed.
3. Orders
- Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We will confirm acceptance via WhatsApp or phone.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including stock availability or suspected fraud.
- Custom and engraved orders are made to your specifications. Please verify all details (names, text, designs) before confirming, as errors in custom work cannot be corrected after production begins.
4. Payment
- Pay on Delivery: Available for orders within Accra delivered by our rider service. Full payment is due upon delivery.
- Mobile Money: Available for deliveries outside Accra. Payment must be completed before dispatch.
- For large or custom orders, we may require a deposit (typically 50%) before production begins, with the balance due before delivery.
5. Delivery
- Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on your location and product availability.
- Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and the delivery method selected.
- Pickup is available at designated locations listed during checkout.
- Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect your order at the time of receipt.
6. Returns & Refunds
- If your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
- Custom and engraved products cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective or do not match the confirmed specifications.
- Standard (non-custom) products may be returned unused and in original condition within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.
- Refunds, when approved, will be processed via the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including product photos, designs, logos, and text — is the property of Mahogana and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mahogana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product in question.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Ghana.
